Moe !!

Well, with this one things just got little bit out of control. I asked my boyfriend to fix me a smaller axe for camping. He sharpened an old axe head for me and fixed a new handle to it. I said it would be fine, i would finish the handle, sand it smooth and then i would drill hole in it, for the cord so it could be hang up. You do not want to leave your tools on ground, they will get rusty.

So, i made a hole. And then sanded the handle. And then i decided to sand it little bit better. And because nobody wasn´t watching me, i decided to add little decoration. You know, so people would know that it would be my camping gear. Just one little thing.

And then i noticed, that five hours had passed nicely and i had to stop the carving, because head of the axe was too close. And it looked like i had not stopped after first figure and the curly bits covered the whole handle.

Since i still needed to use the axe for working, i then decided to burn in the carved figures, so they would stay visible after the handle would be tarnished and worn. After i had added the dark antique wax i decided to finally stop, because i was hinted, that people wouldn´t let me use it, if i would decorate it even more. Silently i agreed to stop there, because i knew, that if i had carved the head of the axe too, it would be wasted as a common tool...
